Frances Bertuca

Frances M. (Lippolis) Bertuca, 93, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord and into the arms of the love of her life Joseph (Butchie), Monday, June 15, 2015. Besides her husband Joe she was predeceased by an infant daughter Roseanne; grandson David; her parents Michel and Rose (Salamida) Lippolis; brother Angelo (Doris) Lippolis; sisters Annie (Vince) Fusco and Genevieve (Bob) Lyons and best friend Mary Palmisani. She is survived by her daughter Betty Ann (Domenic) Romeo, Endicott; son Joseph (Marcia) Bertuca, Wichita, KS; grandchildren Michael; Catherine and Gabriella Romeo and Jody (Cheryl) and Bobby (Shelli) Bertuca; seven great grandchildren; brother in law and sisters in law Dick Rella and Madeline and Margaret Rella; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, the Alberobellese and S.S. Cosmas and Damiano Clubs. She was also a former employee of Endicott-Johnson Corp., International House and Farm and Home Meats. Fran and Joe were an inspirational example of love, since they met in Utica, NY and were devoted to each other for their 63 years of marriage. She will be remembered for her sarcastic wit, wry sense of humor, pineapple cheese cake, eggplant and her love of roses. The family would like to thank the nurses and aides of Bridgewater Nursing Center’s 2B unit for their exceptional care.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 5-7 pm.
