Frances Glisson

Frances Glisson 87, formerly of Endicott , passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 ( just don’t tell David) at The Grand nursing home in Chittenango . She was predeceased by her husband Merle and brother Frank Bogady. She is survived by her son David and his wife Jeanne, and the two brightest stars in her life her Grandsons, Michael and Mitchell.
Fran became an LPN and was the school nurse for Broome-Tioga BOCES for 23 years before retiring. She was then called back for administrative work finally retiring in 2005. Fran was an avid bowler and traveled to several state championships. Her favorite activities included going shopping, trips to Reading, trips to the casino and most of all, spending money on her grandsons.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:30am, St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Ave Endicott . The family will receive friends Saturday at church from 10 am until Mass time at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery Endwell immediately following mass.
