Frances Masteller

d. April 3, 2024

Frances Masteller (Flint) was reunited with her heavenly family on April 3, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her parents Hazel and Percy Adams, husband Carl Masteller, brothers George, Eugene, and Royce Adams and sisters Leona (Robert) Flint, Anna May and Doris, sister in law Gloria Adams and the father of her children David Flint whose love she held dear through her final moments. She also bore the life-changing losses of her beloved son Dale (Denise) Flint and adored daughter Teri Cobb.
She is survived by her son David Flint, and daughters; Karen Flint and Charmaine (David) Harbst, her brother Carl Adams, granddaughters; Angela (John) Prosinski, Ashley Schubmehl, grandsons; Jason (Ockie) Flint, Marcus Flint, Justin Cobb, and Brian (Jenny) Freeman along with great-grandchildren; Daleanna and Averie Prosinski, Kyora Rivera, Lennyn Flint, and Addie and Jace Freeman.
Frances “with an e” lived her life with more than her share of pain and struggles, but always found joy and pleasure in music whether it be singing with her sister Leona, listening to her favorites Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Patsy Cline, or on the dance floor and watching Polka and Lawrence Welk.
She also enjoyed bowling and was very proud of the awards she earned, but nothing compared to the relationships with “the girls” who continued to meet for lunch years after they were able to bowl.
Fran was also an avid Yankee fan, where she could be heard cheering the team with the same supportive catch-phrases as she did her children/grandchildren - “Ducks on the pond”, “Walk’s as good as a hit”, and most importantly….”It ain’t over till it’s over”.
To know her was to love her, and those of us who are left behind without her here will always remember her as the most selfless, caring, and compassionate woman we will ever know. We can all take comfort in the amount of love and peace she has found in the arms of the loved ones she has been missing for so long.
Our family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Friday, May 10 from 6-7 pm
