Francis Swift

Francis J Swift, 76, of Endwell passed away peacefully on Friday March 20, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his son Eric. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joanne (Boyer) Swift; daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie (Chris) Ihara, Valerie Swift, and Kerry (Henry) Leetz; grandchildren, Krystal, Justin, and Brittany Lavin, Jacob, Amanda, and Patrick Swift, and Henry Leetz; great grandchildren Aidan, Victoria, Elizabeth, and Colton. Fran was a graduate of Penn State University and was an electrical engineer at IBM where he was a member of the quarter century club. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family at the cottage on Cayuga Lake. The family would like to thank the members of the Union Volunteer Emergency Squad, the staff of Wilson Hospital ER, NT4, and ST5, and Lourdes at Home. Special thanks goes out to the entire staff of Endwell Family Physicians, especially Dr. Sze-Tu and Rachel for their guidance and support over the past few years. We are truly grateful to his caregivers Pam, Mitch, Cassy, Lori and Linda. Per his request, there will be no services.
