Frank Petrilli

The community of Endicott mourns the loss of a beloved figure, Frank Petrilli, who passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was 92 years old born on March 27th, 1932, on Easter Sunday.
Frank was an inspiring person who commanded any room he entered, and dedicated his life to his family and his community, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Born in Rome, Italy and was raised in the town of Pofi. Frank immigrated to the United States as a young man, with a strong commitment to his heritage, which he instilled in his family.
His passion for life, wisdom, and unwavering love for his children were evident in every interaction. Frank's spirit will forever resonate on Washington Ave, where his kindness and charisma touched many lives.
He loved being a barber for 71 years, his other passion was making homemade Italian bread. He used to tell us, "If you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life."
He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Josephine Petrilli, whom he cherished deeply. Frank is also lovingly remembered by his children: Annamaria Roma (Angelo Roma), Gina Roberto (Joe Roberto), Carmen Roscoe (Randy Roscoe), Perry Petrilli (Susie Petrilli), and Dino Petrilli (Rebecca
Petrilli), he was predeceased by his father and mother, Rosario and Marianna Petrilli, his brother, Joseph Petrilli (Antoinette Petrilli). He is survived by his sister Mary Petrilli Tribuzi, (Gino Tribuzi) his brother in law, Mattia Latessa (Gloria Latessa) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Elisa Roma (Michael Testani), Cristina Roma-Zelesnikar (Edward Zelesnikar), Marisa Roberto-Girard (Cole Girard), Michael Roma, Justin Roscoe, Aiden Petrilli, Ayla Petrilli, Siena Petrilli, and Ava Petrilli, as well as his great-grandchildren, Nino Zelesnikar, Alina Zelesnikar and Alexander Shephard.
Frank Petrilli, will be remembered not only for his exuberance and wisdom but also for the love he shared with his family and community.
We love you, Dad, and we know you are in heaven watching over us until we meet again.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 am, Tuesday, October 29 at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, at the convenience of the family.
