Our beloved husband, father and Pop-Pop Frank J. Romanelli - 85 of Endicott, NY (formerly from Hazleton, PA) passed away suddenly on Sunday June 25th doing what he loved, swimming in his pool. Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank A. and Rose Romanelli, his brother Peter (Janet), sisters Mary (Anthony) Franzosa, Philomina (John) Horneck, Carmella (Anunzio) Romeo, Maurina (John) Citro, nephew Peter Romanelli and mother in law and father in law Antoinette and Saverio Noce. Survived by loving and devoted wife Barbara, daughter Mara (Carlo) DiRado, son Frank (Maura) Romanelli , his pride and joy granddaughters Camille, Emma, Elena and Cara. Frank loved his grandbabies and was so proud of all their accomplishments. He’s also survived by loving brother and sister in law Antonio and Celia DeVincentis, their children, Godson Joe (Lisa) DeVincentis and Goddaughter Domenica (Felix) Mucedola, as well as several nieces and nephews including Theresa (Steve) Cartwright, Patty, Frank, Michael, Johnny, and Godson Joe Romanelli. Frank was proud of his service and retired from the United States Air Force w here he was a B52 aviator serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis and IBM Federal Systems. He was a member and Eucharistic minister of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church Friday from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am.
