Frank L. Tedeschi (86), of Endicott, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 2, 2021. Frank was predeceased by his daughter, Rosemarie; parents, Louis and Yolanda Tedeschi; sisters, Florence (Russ) Melazzo, Betty (Geno) Olevano, Antoinette (Lewis) Bidwell, Grace (Tony) Olevano, and Angie (Orlando) Olevano. Frank is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Rose, sons, John (Ewa) Tedeschi and Louis Tedeschi and grandson Joseph (Eryka) Tedeschi, along with several nieces and nephews.
Frank was a lifelong resident of Endicott and a devout Catholic at St. Anthony Church. He graduated from Union-Endicott High School and BCC College and went on to serve in the U.S. Army. Frank worked at IBM for over 35 years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Even in his retirement, he made himself available to many IBM retirees and widowers with their health and life insurance questions. Frank was also active in helping the elderly at Riverview Apartments.
Frank cherished his wife Rose, her cooking, baking and homemade pizzas, his long conversations with his son John, and watching sporting events with his son Lou. He will miss his many trips to Virginia and all the events planned there by his daughter-in-law, Ewa. Finally, he will miss his many games of Kings-In-The-Corner with his grandson Joey.
A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 12 at St. Anthony Church, 300 Odell Ave, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The Family will receive friends at the church from 9:00am until the time of mass at 10:30am.
