G. John Corin

G. John Corin 77, of Endwell, NY originally from Rochester, NY passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 27, 2020, concluding many years of overcoming various illnesses.
He was predeceased by his parents Florence and Mitchell Corin and his baby son Adam Corin. John is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Judy (Barauskis) Corin and their children: Dr. Johnna Corin-Lowell (Cliff) of Massachusetts, Brian Corin (Helen) of Virginia, Jodie Hill (Chuck) of Georgia. His grandchildren: Marianne Mayhew, Jared BlackMoon, Jaeger, Jenna, Blake & Adam Hill, and Magnus Corin. He leaves behind his sister, Margaret Herron of California, sisters-in-law Joan Lischak (Dr Michael Lischak), Jean Gaudio (Tony Gaudio) and his brother-in-law, Tom Barauskis (Sharon), also included are several nieces, nephews and good friends Mike Catalano and Rich Sheehan. His pups Rosie and Annie will miss his treats and long walks.
He served in the Navy. Upon graduating from the University of Rochester, he pursued a successful career in engineering. He retired from BAE and then drove a school bus for U-E Schools for several years and did handyman work for the Office for Aging program Seniors Helping Seniors. He truly loved life and lived it to the fullest with a positive attitude and his signature statement “Smile it’s contagious”.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Lourdes Hospice, The Leukemia Society or a charity of your choice.
