Georgette Giroux

Georgette A. Giroux, 88, of Vestal, passed away peacefully with family at her bedside under Hospice Care at son Michael’s residence in Hubbardston, MA on Sunday May 11, 2014. She was predeceased by husband, Laureat Giroux; parents, Joseph and Louise Parent, Lewiston, ME and brother, Maurice of West Buxton, ME. She is survived by her five children, two daughters, Lorraine (Frank) Gaik, Buffalo, NY, Denise Giroux, Romulus, NY and three sons, Richard (Debra), Cornelius, NC, Michael (Marion), Hubbardston, Mass, David (Lorraine), Smyrna, NY; grandsons, Michael, Karl, Gavin and granddaughter, Emily.; sister-in-law Denyse Parent, of West Buxton, ME; niece, Carole Gunville, San Jose, CA. Georgette was a wonderful mother, strong in faith, independent and full of life. She enjoyed being a real estate agent, music, dancing, travel and most of all her family. She will remain in our hearts, cherished forever and never forgotten.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 6 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Deacon Thomas Harley, of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Endicott, officiating. Burial will be in Lewiston, ME. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 4 pm until service time at 6 pm.
