Georgianna (Jeanette) D’Aloisio, 86, passed away on March 1, 2025. Jeanette was predeceased by her parents Peter and Domenica Ciacelli, and her loving husband of 41 years, Michael. She was also predeceased by her brother Armando Ciacelli, and her sisters Antonette Irneli and Carol Ruggieri.
Jeanette is survived by her children Albert (Peggy) D’Aloisio, Michael D’Aloisio, Anna (Jim) Tiesi and Darlene (Louis) Caforio. She is survived by her sister Ann Rossi, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Vince and Marlene Colapietro, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Jeanette graduated as a Registered Nurse from Binghamton City Hospital School of Nursing in 1960, quite an accomplishment at that time for a first-generation child born to immigrant parents. She worked as a nurse locally for over 30 years. After marrying her husband Michael in 1961, Jeanette embraced her roles as a devoted wife and mother. She tirelessly supported her family, nurturing her children as individuals to become the best they could be.
Jeanette was known for her loving, caring spirit and generosity. She was a caregiver for her mother for many years and provided guidance and support to extended family members and friends when she saw there was a need. Her hospitality was unmatched, hosting countless dinners and gatherings that will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of sitting at her table. Her love of animals was another reflection of her compassionate heart.
Jeanette became a student of the Bible and lived her life in accordance with its guidelines. As a Jehovah’s Witness, she understood the hope the Bible holds out for a paradise earth under the rule of Gods’ Kingdom and told others about this hope for over 30 years. It made her happy knowing she was doing the will of her creator.
Jeanette held fast to the Bible’s hope of a resurrection (John 5:28,29, Acts 24:15) knowing in the near future she will enjoy life again on earth in full health and in peaceful conditions.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Brookdale Vestal West Enhanced Memory Care. They provided unequaled loving support for her the last two years. We are so grateful.
