Gerald W. Ovens

Gerald Ovens known by most as Jerry, was a resident of Endicott, New York. He just turned 74 five days before his untimely death on January 29, 2025 at Lourdes Hospital. Jerry was predeceased by his spouse Susan (Rockwell) Ovens, his son William (J.J.) Ovens, his brother Roger Ovens, his parents William and Elizabeth Ovens, his nephew Keegan Ovens. He is survived by his daughters Tina Ovens, Carrie (Gilbert) and John Bergman, his brother Donald and Phyllis Ovens and his sister Cheryl Ovens. His grandchildren Eliya Stolpinski, Sarah Stolpinski, Taylor Quackenbush, Calley Bergman. His grandson Grayson Albrecta. He is also survived by his niece Lauren Ovens and nephew Jason Ovens. Jerry retired from the Town of Union in 2006. Jerry also served in the army and national guards for over 30 years. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Jerry Ovens memory may be made to Every Dogs Dream or to the American Legion Riders Chapter 401. Funeral Services for Jerry will be held on Tuesday, February 4th at 11am at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends on Monday February 3rd at the Allen Memorial Home from 5-7pm.
