Geraldine “Gerri” Bates

Geraldine (Gerri) A. Bates, 91, of Endicott went to be with the Lord and to join her husband Joseph on October 25, 2023. Gerri was predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Dorothy (Randesi) Bevilacqua, husband Joseph (Joe), sisters Fran, Mary and Josephine, brothers Sam and Jim. She is survived by her sons Larry (Marie) Bates of Endicott NY and Gerald (Joyce) Bates of Endicott NY, grandchildren Anthony and Jenine Bates, Christopher Bates and Sundae Oxley, Danielle Bates and Gavin Keaty, Adrienne Bates and Ed Menhennett, Tina and Tom Tammaro, Joe Bates, Jesse and Sydney Bates; great grandchildren Angelina Bates, Christopher and Sabrina, (Kyson, Camden) Wright, Noah Bates and Isaiah Oxley, Sidney Menhennett, Zachary Tammaro, Oakley Bates, Avalon Bates and Scarlett Bates, as well as several special nieces and nephews. Gerri was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed camping, cooking, square dancing and loved animals. She also was a member of St Anthony’s Church who also was an avid collector of various novelties.
The family will receive family and friends at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St, Endicott on Monday, October 30th from 4-6 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St Anthony’s Church in Endicott the following day on Tuesday, October 31st at 10:00 am followed by burial at Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
