June 29, 1921 — April 30, 2010

Geraldine Vivona, 88, of Endicott, died at Susquehanna Nursing Center, Johnson City, Friday, April 30, 2010. She was predeceased by her husbands Stanley Apgar in 1970 and James Vivona in 2008. She is survived by two sisters and brothers in law Doris and Paul Samuels, Newark Valley, NY and Joyce and Maynard Lawton, Tennessee; a brother and sister in law Richard and Elsie Wade, Binghamton; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. She was a member of Maine Federated Church, Maine, NY, and a retired Endicott-Johnson Corp. employee and its 30 Year Club. Geraldine was also a member of the Endicott Senior Citizens Club and the Maine Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Steve Johnson, Pastor of her church officiating. Burial will be in Allentown Cemetery, Glen Aubrey, NY. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Monday evening from 6-8 pm. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Union Center Fire Company, Union Center-Maine Highway, Endicott, NY 13760 or the Union Volunteer Emergency Squad, Inc., 8 South Avenue B, Endwell, NY 13760.
