Girard “Jed” Maloney

Girard E. (Jed) Maloney, Jr., July 7, 1955 - April 26, 2014. Jed was predeceased by his father, Girard E. Maloney, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Denise (Dwyer) Maloney; his sons, Nicholas, Brian and Mark Maloney; and a daughter and the apple of his eye, Shannon Maloney; two grandchildren, Lilly and Noah; his mother, Amalia Maloney; his sisters, Susan and Nancy Maloney and Janice Maloney and husband Doug Camplejohn; a brother, Neil Maloney and his wife Debbie. Jed is also survived by nieces and nephews, Devlin, Gordon, Sophie and Olivia; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Irene Dwyer; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dan Dwyer and his wife Peggy, Bill Dwyer and his wife Carolyn, Jim Dwyer and his wife Connie and all of their children, his best buddy, Mark Whiting. Jed was the owner of the Endicott Tire and Service Center in Endicott.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Father Clarence Rumble officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Jed’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 6390 Fly Road, 2nd floor, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Jed will be remembered and missed by many for his generous heart and charming spirit.
