Gloria Bender Andreas

Gloria Bender Andreas, age 60 passed away on December 19, 2014 peacefully in her sleep at home. Gloria was predeceased by her parents Edward and Ada Bender of Endicott and her nephew Scott Bender. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Chuck Andreas; only daughter, who was the light of her life, Alecia Bender; and daughter-in-law, Heather Fisher of Endwell; stepchildren, Ian Andreas(Shannon Gavitt), Mike and Brianna Hills, and Ashley Kushner; brother, Edward B. Bender Jr. and brother-in-law, Charles H. Matthews of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Jim and Sherry Bender of Endicott, Laura and Carl Vandervort of Warren Center, PA; three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends. Also, her beloved pets Kiaha and Gizmo. Gloria attended Union Endicott High school class of 1972. She was the owner/operator of Bender’s Upholstery in West Corners for over 30 years. She was a free spirit who was also beautiful and had such a caring soul who was loved by so many. She enjoyed music and loved singing in several bands. Anyone that knew Gloria would know that she was always smiling.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Tuesday 7 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Daniel Eddings, Pastor of Community Church of the Nazarene, Endicott, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 4 pm until service time at 7 pm.
