Gloria Maione

Gloria Ann (Honsinger) Maione, 83, of Endwell, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, surrounded by her loving family.
Gloria was a strong woman and had a calming demeanor. She adored her family and loved traveling on Tony’s Prudential trips and the many years of family trips. She loved to cook, bake and make beautiful quilts for her family, friends and anyone in need of encouragement. She was a role model of a mother and wife for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and is already missed.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Honsinger and Anna (Wenger) Honsigner, and brothers Richard and Robert (Nancy).
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Anthony Fortunato Maione (Tony), her sister, Mary Jane Malenda; children Anthony (Patricia) Maione, Victoria (Daniel) Elliott, David (Karen) Maione, Andrea (Jeff) Hutchings and Christina (Brian) Hallett; grandchildren Anthony (Katie), Nicholas, Vincent, David, Marisa, and Matthew Maione, Cainan Hutchings and Evan Hallett; great grandchildren, Anthony, David, Clare, Genevieve, Hannah and Lucie Maione, and several nieces and nephews.
Our family would like to thank Dr. Perry and also the wonderful care givers at Good Shepherd and Hospice for their support and comfort. In lieu of flowers, Gloria asks that her friends and family donate to their favorite charities or perform acts of kindness.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 11 am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church Thursday from 9:30 am until Mass time at 11 am.
