Gordon Williams

Gordon L. Williams, Jr., 80 of Endicott died at Mercy House Friday, February 17, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Ethel Williams and a sister Arlene Hershenson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Jereane Williams, Endicott, two sons and daughter-in-law Keith Williams, Virginia, Joseph (Dawn) Petrolle, Endicott, one daughter Beth (Petrolle) Marsh, Ithaca, five grandchildren Lauren, Maci, Madison, Eric and Mikey, one sister and brother-in-law Carole and Roland Haight, Maine, one brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Lynne Fontana, Endicott, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retired I.B.M. Corporation employee retiring after 30 years of service and a member of its Quarter Century Club. He was also a retired employee of Sam’s Club, retiring after 21 years of service. Gordon was a member and past president of the West Corners Lions Club. The Williams family wishes to thank Alanna Bowman, Gordon’s home health nurse and Shelia Meany at United Health Services I.C.U. for the wonderful care given to him.
A Memorial service will be held Tuesday at 12 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 10 am until service time at 12 pm.
