Grace M (Clune) Bartlett, 87, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents George Sr. and Helen (Balles) Hoeflein; brother George Hoeflein Jr. and brother in law Robert Hendery. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, William Bartlett, Her children Mary Jo (Doug) Kozel, Patrick Clune, Maggie Clune, Kerry Clune, Molly (Curt) DeWeese, Gerry (Kari) Clune; grandchildren Alison, Bret, and Lea; Ryan and Mike; Brendan and Christie; Meghan and Tommy; Tyler and Julia; Jaden and Joslin; step grandson Gabe Linden, great grandchildren Alaina, Owen, and Dean; sister, Lila Hendery; brothers, William (Helen) Hoeflein, and Robert (Ann) Hoeflein; sister in law Madeline Hoeflein; sister in law Barbara (Bartlett) LaClaire; brother in law Robert (Pat) Bartlett; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Grace was employed by IBM, Burt’s of Endicott, E&T Catering, and Binghamton Press. A devout Catholic, she was a long time parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church and St. Ambrose Church. Grace loved spending time with her family; attending their activities, cooking, baking, playing games (cards and dominoes) and vacationing at the lake.
Funeral services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Endicott, at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her honor may be made to Grace’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
