Guy Chaplin

Guy Chaplin, of Vestal, passed unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family at Lourdes Hospital. He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Amanda Chaplin, mother in law Estrella Rodriquez and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 plus years, Eva Chaplin; his daughters, Marilyn Gale and Gloria Bishop of Vestal, NY, Star Chaplin of Binghamton, NY, Theresa Henrique of Staten Island, Linda Torres of Endwell, NY; and sons, David Lopez of Queens, NY, Jaime Dolan of Oneonta, NY; grandchildren, Stephanie and Ivan Espada, Alana Gale, Ayana Gale, Ariel Hendricks; and great grandchild, Emmanuel Espada; as well as six nieces and five nephews. Guy served in the United States Marine Corps in W.W.II as well as served 20 years as a sergeant in the New York City Police Department. Throughout his life he has touched many lives with his love, generosity, wit, craftsmanship and wisdom. He will be missed by many.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 pm at the Tower of Memories in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Monday evening from 5-8 pm.
