Harold Mason

Harold Mason of New York City, born 2/17/1932 to Harold and Anna Craft Mason in Hallstead, PA died 2/12/2018 at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Ithaca College and was a co-director of Ithaca Opera. He was one of the original members of the Tri Cities Opera. Over his extensive musical career he participated in the Aspen Music Festival, Chautauqua Institute young singers program, the men’s chorus of Wagnerian Operas at the Met in NYC as well as performing in many other operas including some of modern day composers. Along with his wife he also appeared in background roles for several movies. He is survived by his wife Ethelmae Mason.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
