Harvey Decker

Harvey P. Decker, 80, of Vestal, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday June 5, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy in 2005; daughter, Irene; parents, Harvey and Vera; brother and sister in law, Uriah “Cy” (Janice); brother in law, Dennis Saxby. Harvey is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; two sons, Leon (Roxann) and Lee (Joyce); sister, Ethel Saxby; son in law, Floyd Briggs; grandchildren, Alecia Decker; Richard Decker; Penny (Sean) Bacon; Joey (Brandy) Briggs; Sharon (Scott) Baumgartner; several great grandchildren; step children, Linda (Lincoln) Ellis and Wallace (Dawn) Goff; step grandchildren, Shannen (Jake); Trish (Cris); Nicole; Angela; Christina; Michael and Curtis; fourteen step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Charles; Sylvia; Clair; Marion; Shirley; Stanley; Joseph; Judy; Joyce. Harvey served in the United States Army. His passions were spending time with his family, being outdoors, hunting and his stone quarry. The family would like to say a special thank you to the sisters and staff of Lourdes Hospital for their care and attention of Harvey.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 7 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Reverend John Lucas of Tracy Creek Memorial Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Monday from 5 pm until service time at 7 pm.
