Helen Hyde

Helen G. Hyde 88, of St. Joseph, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Ideal Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Milton S. Hyde; her sons-in-law, Leo McCormack and Richard M. O’Reilly; grandson, Kyle Hyde; parents, Thomas and Grace Conroy; sisters, Ann, Patricia and Margaret; and brothers, Thomas, Eugene, Raymond and Donald. She is survived by her children, Maureen McCormack, Sue and Bob Russo, Marcia O’Reilly, Kevin Hyde, Jan and Ron Lewis; grandchildren, Rich and Amy McCormack, Joe and Sherry McCormack, Amy and Wayne Bouren, Julie Russo and Pat McKee, Terry and Jim Matias, Chris O’Reilly, Tracy and Dustin Traver, Kelly and Kenny Bush, Eric, Ryan and Justin Hyde, JJ and Mark Thompson, Scott and Lisa Lewis; and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Louise (Dave) Martin and brother-in-law, James Libous. Helen was a member and very actively involved in church activities and Altar and Rosary for both St. Joseph Church and Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She was also a lifetime member of Lourdes Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for her wonderful care by the Rose Court staff at Ideal Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 10 am. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Joseph, PA. the family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
