Helen Nardo

Helen Marie Nardo passed away peacefully Wednesday July 23, 2014 at Good Shepard Village at Endwell. She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Mary Wasileski and her husband Joseph A. Nardo. Surviving Helen are her children Joseph Nardo Jr, Nancy Fargnoli, and Lou Sbarra, Elaine and Peter Gorton, her grandchildren Derek and Leah Starchok, Desiree and Paul zu Hone, Marisa and Randy Hill, and Julie Fargnoli, and her great grandson Hudson zu Hone. Helen was a kind and giving mother and grandmother. She was an exceptional listener and always had words of wisdom to share. Her sense of humor during unexpected times was always entertaining and will always be treasured. Her door was always open and there was always room for one more at the table. The family wishes to thank the providers of Good Shepard Village at Endwell for their compassion and extraordinary care over the past five years.
We wish to invite family and friends to the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Sunday, July 27th from 2-5 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. In Helen’s memory, we also request to please take time to visit someone in a nursing home.
