Helen J. Urban
March 21, 1925 — April 13, 2025
On October 12, 1946 she married the love of her life, Joseph J. Urban. He left this Earth on August 12, 2004 to await her return to him. They now will enjoy eternal life together. She was also predeceased by son Joseph T. Urban, her parents Mary & Adam Latavish, seven sisters, and three brothers.
Helen was a cherished mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law; Ann & Kevin Ellsworth (Raleigh, NC), Joann & Charlie Wage (Endwell, NY) Janet & Ron Yurecka (Johnson City, NY), Jacqueline & Steve Haluska (Newark Valley, NY), and son Jim Urban (Endicott, NY) and Rose Urban. Thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Let the trumpets sound as heaven welcomes another angel.
A Funeral Mass for Helen will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Church, 207 Hayes Avenue, Endicott NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City NY. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott NY, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 5-7 pm.
