Herbert Ferris

Herbert T. Ferris, 84, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Herbert Ferris; sister, Jane (Bill) Mullen; daughter in law, Karen Ferris and a beloved cousin, Elmer Waterbury. He is survived by his loving wife, Stella Ferris; son, Tom (Linda) Ferris; daughter Debra Cioci and fiancée, Colin Rickenback; son, Michael (Debbie) Ferris. He is also survived by his grandchildren and their spouses as well as great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Herb was varsity coach for Our Lady of Sorrows , Vestal, CYO, youth baseball, and Teener League for many years. He was employed by GAF for 35 years, and a member of St. Ambrose Church. The family would like to thank UHS Wilson staff for the loving care Herbie received.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10 am at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Thursday from 4-7 pm.
