Horace “Ace” Sague, Jr., 73, of Binghamton, died peacefully at Lourdes Hospital Friday, September 19, 2014 after a brief illness. Ace was predeceased by his wife Marsha (Dee Dee) in April of 2001. He is also predeceased by his parents Horace Sr. and Manga Sague, three uncles of the Hurliman family and also a granddaughter Cadence in 2013. He is survived by two sons and a daughter, Shawn and Pamela Sague of Endicott, Erik and Kristen Sague of Binghamton, Jeannie Sague and fiancé James of Binghamton. Ace also had six grandchildren, Calvin, Denise, Damien, Joshua, Paradise and Nicholas. Three step-grandchildren, Matt, Brach and Elizabeth and also three step-great grandchildren, Jadyn, Zander and Mariah. Also surviving are numerous brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ace was a very good handyman and worked at many jobs over his 73 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army with the 4/9 Manchus-25th Infantry Division in Vietnam from March 1967 to March 1968. He was honorably discharged in 1969.
Graveside Services with full Military Honors will be held Thursday 2 pm at Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
