On July 21st 1933 the world was blessed with a newborn angel, Irene Nancy (Clark) Edwards. Her parents Harry and Belle Clark were overcome with joy and happiness.
In her early life this angel learned how to love and be loved. God had a purpose for her and that was to show others how to be kind to everyone. If you were blessed with knowing her then you knew she had a gift. While you were in her presence she eased your heart and mind and you inadvertently became a better person. That was her gift and purpose in life, to make you a better person. You couldn’t help but to love her and share her kindness with others.
Nancy loved children. She found great joy in the daycare environment she created in her home. Many many children came and everyone of them felt safe and loved and learned kindness. That was her calling to send those children out into the world with love in their hearts and kindness in their minds.
On July 12th 2024, a warm summer evening at the Mercy House of the Southern Tier, Nancy’s mission here on Earth was complete. She was called to heaven where she began her eternal life.
