Irene Fusetti

Irene B. Fusetti, 91, of Endicott, formerly of Vestal, went to her eternal rest Wednesday, February 15, 2023. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years Peter J. Fusetti, her parents, William and Florence Knapik, brother William Knapik Jr. (wife Gloria), and sister Constance Dvorsky (husband Robert). She is survived by her daughter Cindy Place, Vestal; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Lorinda Fusetti, Harrisburg, PA and Tim and Monica Fusetti, Monroe, NC; six grandchildren, Jeremy (wife Jennifer) Bakeman, Amber Bakeman, Zachary and Hannah Fusetti, and Lauren and Cailen Fusetti; two great grandchildren, Daniel and Gabrielle Bakeman; and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of The Church of The Holy Family, Endwell. Irene was a retired I.B.M. Corporation employee who supported many organizations with her volunteer work for WSKG public radio, United Way of Broome County, and the American Red cross. She was known to have a good eye for decorating, enjoyed doing ceramics, traveling, Broadway shows, and shopping. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 4 at 9:30 am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott.
