Irene Hosay

Irene Robinson Haskins Hosay, 87, of Endwell, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents Ray and Malvina Robinson; husband Joseph Hosay; first husband George H. Haskins; daughter Janice Travis; grandson George J. Haskins; sister Jean Stone. She is survived by her sons George R. (Marilyn) Haskins and Lynn (Dawn) Haskins; sister Betty (Don) Knott; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Irene retired from the Singer Link Company, Kirkwood, NY after 25 years of employment. While employed she traveled the world as an electrician working on Link trainers. After retiring she and her husband Joseph enjoyed traveling which included 26 cruises. Her hobbies were bowling, quilting and cake decorating. She loved spending time with her family and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be heldMonday 10 am from the Allen Memorial Home,511-513 East Main Street, Endicott,with the Reverend Jennifer Kauffman of Great Bend Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead, PAat 12 pm. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial HomeSunday from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Great Bend United Methodist Church,406 Main Street, Great Bend, PA 18821.
