Jacinta J. Shaffer

Jacinta Joy (Doolittle) Shaffer, 53, of Endicott, NY. A joyous reunion in Heaven continues for the Harris family with the passing of Jacinta Joy Shaffer on December 27, 2012. She was predeceased by her mother, Florence (Harris) Doolittle; her grandparents, Henry and Iona Harris; uncles and aunts, Charles and Katherine, Chester and Lawrence Harris, Ellen Miller, Alys and Jerry Crampton, Wilma and Richard Baker, Joan Harris and Ida Paglia. Also predeceasing her were her cousins, Phyllis and Charles Harris, Danny Baker and Becky Loveless. Also a very important father figure, Jim Contento. Surviving Jacinta are her three sons, Christopher and Lea and grandson Justin and sons Patrick and Kyle; brother, Kenneth and Peggy and nephew Kenneth; brother, William and Marlene; niece, Michelle and nephew James. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Myrna and Stan Sprague, Myra and Gene Thomas, Hank and Rosemary Harris, Jerry and Sue Harris, Frank Miller, Louis Paglia; aunts, Helen Jane Harris and Sandy Saccoccio. Also surviving are many cousins. Jacinta worked many years for Endicott Trust Company and Colban Funding Mortgage Company. Our heartfelt thank you to Binghamton General ICU and Wilson Memorial ICU for the excellent care they gave Jacinta and the compassion and kindness shown to her family. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Rev. Daniel Eddings will officiate. The family will receive friends at the memorial home Monday, 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m.
