Jack W. Baldwin, 79, of Endicott, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Friday, September 20, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents Guy and Ruth; two sisters Madeline Greenhalgh and Norma Cunningham and a brother in law Ramon Palazzo. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Dolores (Palazzo) Baldwin; a daughter and son in law Jacki and Gary Crooks; two sons and daughters in law Greg and Lisa Baldwin and Robert and Jeanie Baldwin; his grandchildren Justin (Stephanie); Adam; Gannon; Nicole (Craig); Natalie (fiancé Dave); Gina; Whitney (Phil); Katelyn (Nick); Alayna (Ty) and Sara; three great grandchildren Addison; Jordan and Madelyn; a sister and brother in law Jill and Dave Buran; a sister in law Mary Ann Palazzo; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. He was a member of New Life Ministries, Endicott, a retired IBM Corp. employee, retiring after 32 of service a member of its Quarter Century Club and was a veteran of the US Army. Some of Jack’s enjoyments in life were the New York Giants, playing billiards, but most of all was time spent with his adoring family. The Baldwin family would like to thank their “extended” family at Susquehanna Nursing Center for the loving care and compassion shown not only to Jack but also to them as well.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held Tuesday 1 pm from New Life Ministries, 201 Hill Avenue, Endicott. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at church Tuesday from 11 am until service time at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
