James Harrington

James C. Harrington, 83, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2016 at Vestal Park Nursing Center. He was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Barbara (Custer) Harrington and his siblings Wally, Ronnie, Iva and Roger. He is survived by his son and daughter in law Scott and Beth Harrington and two grandchildren Abigail and Brady Harrington, of Whitney Point, his brother George Harrington, of Vestal and sister Betty Wright, of Harpursville and his loving companion and best friend Barbara Perry of Johnson City. He retired from IBM in Endicott after 35 years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a veteran of the United StatesArmyand a member of theBPOEof Vestal 2508.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 10th at 5 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Reverend Jan Clark, Pastor of the Fairview United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Apalachin at a later date at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Saturday from 3 pm until service time at 5 pm.
