James Mason

James E. Mason, (1919-2014) of Lisle, NY passed away at Willow Point Nursing Home Sunday August 18, 2014. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ebba of sixty eight years. He is survived by two daughters, Karen Potter and Kristen (Mike) Mason Gottlieb; his grandchildren, Kara Mason, Denise (Dan) Moyer and James Potter; ten great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. James was a longtime employee of I.B.M. both in Poughkeepsie and Owego, NY. James loved the many friends he met in his life. He also loved gardening, golf, horse racing and the Boston Red Sox. He was a very caring, giving and compassionate man. The family would like to thank the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home and special thanks Dr. Malkin and Dr. Dean for the wonderful care given to both James and his wife Ebba for many years.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
