James “Jay” Peskur

James J Peskur (Jay) 80, of Binghamton NY passed away, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Mercy House in Endicott NY. Jay was preceded by his parents Joseph and Geraldine Peskur. Jay Is survived by his wife Betty of Binghamton NY, and many nieces and nephews.
Jay served in the United States Air Force, after returning to home to the Binghamton area he worked as a Roofer and was a long-time member of the Roofers Local 203 Union.
He was also a big sports fan and was die hard Detroit Lions fan. He spent many years playing horseshoes around the triple Cities area and brought home many trophies.
He will be missed by his buddy Squeakers the kitty cat.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 14 at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday, June 14 from 10 am until service time at 11 am.
