James Legg Sr.

On Thursday, July 28, 2022, James J. Legg, Sr. “Jim” loving partner, father, brother, and friend, passed away in Binghamton, NY at the age of 61.
Jim is survived by his wife Tracey Legg, daughter Heather (Patrick Sheen) Legg, son James Jr. (Kaylee) Legg, son Joshua (Kaitlyn) Legg, and daughter Christina Evans (Kyle). Jim was the proud grandfather of Devan, Jaden, Salena, Savannah, and Grayson. He was predeceased by his parents John and Sarah Legg, brother William Legg, and brother-in-law Ronald Terpak. Jim is also survived by four of his older siblings, Sally Terpak, Jack (Judy) Legg, Bonny (Charles) Betchel, Kathy (Ray) Yeager; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jim loved to go fast and lose himself in music. There was never a dull moment when he was around; you could always count on Jim to have a wisecrack at the ready to suit any occasion. He loved to make everyone around him feel happy and included. James was a stoic man through several illnesses and overcame the odds to spend as much time with his family as he did.
Please join us in celebrating his life at Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Wednesday from 12 pm until service time at 1 pm with Reverend Jose Valencia officiating.
