Jane Cowan

Jane W. Cowan, 78, of Vestal, NY went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday morning, July 31, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband, John Cowan, and her sister, Elaine Cowan. Jane is survived by her three children and their spouses, Debbie and Tod Brechbill, Orrtanna, PA; Cindy and Andy Lewis, Vestal, NY; and David and Jill Cowan, Hillsborough, NC; her grandchildren, Melissa and Nathan Townsend, Drew Lewis, Timothy Lewis, Jonathan Cowan, Ashley Cowan, Joshua Cowan, and Addison Cowan; as well as many beloved relatives and friends. Jane was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, Vestal, NY and actively participated in the senior group there. Jane loved to play games with her family and friends as well as bake according to her Swedish heritage. A funeral service will be held Friday 1:30 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend David Titus officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott, NY.
