Jane Jones

Jane H. Jones, 61, of Johnson City died as a result of a tragic accident Monday July 15, 2013. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret R. and Thomas D. Jones; and a brother-in-law Emil G. Sobiech. She is survived by her sister, LaVonne Sobiech; two nephews, Charles Sobiech, and James (Sharon) Sobiech; and two nieces, Suzanne (Matt) Demtrak and Robin (Daniel) Saltino. Jane is also survived by four grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Derek, Samantha, Ryan, and Enzo; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jane was employed with Handicapped Children’s Association for 12 years. She was a quiet, gentle, and caring person. Some of Jane’s hobbies included jewelry making, gardening, drumming, and reading a good book. Her gentle demeanor was evident in the way she cared for all animals but especially her beloved pet dogs Rosie and Roxy, and her cat Jesse. She will be missed by all. A celebration of Jane’s life for co-workers and close family will be held Friday July 26th at 4:30 pm at Otsiningo Park North Pavilion. Burial will be in South Cannan Cemetery Waymart, PA.
