Janet Barna

Janet Colson Barna of Endwell, NY, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Willow Point Nursing Home.
Departed before her was her loving husband, John Sam Barna, her infant daughter, Tara Suzanne, her brother-in-law, Lenny Mace and her young nephew, Brad Mace.
Janet is survived by her sister, Geri Mace, her two step-daughters and their husbands, Mary & Tim Wheeler, and Carol & Dave Boedicker. Followed by several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of the Holy Family where she was the organizer of the Widows and Widower group, and the Fun and Games group. She was also a member of the Welcoming Committee and sang in church. She was honored by The Diocese of Syracuse with the prestigious Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Immaculata Medallion Award.
Janet retired from Visions Federal Credit Union after many years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Saturday, January 13th at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Binghamton.
