Janet Wheeler

Janet Lefeve Wheeler passed away October 14, 2019 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Blake Miller, and her grandchildren, Reilly, Cole, and Pete. Her husband, David S. Wheeler, passed in October of 2009.
Janet taught in the Vestal Central Schools from 1971 through 1996, primarily at Tioga Hills Elementary. She spent her summers in the Adirondacks, where she enjoyed time with her family on Chateaugay Lake. She will be missed every day, but most dearly at Christmas, her favorite time of the year.
There will be a burial service at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery Sunday, December 22 at 1 pm, in the Tower of Memories.
