Jean Kelley

Jean M. Kelley, 91, of Vestal, peacefully went to be with her Lord surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years William E. Kelley, Vestal; four loving children, W. Kevin Kelley and Debbie Heath, Wappingers Falls, NY, Chris and Marilyn Kelley, Wexford, PA, Robin Kelley and Joe Schuster, Bath, NY and Tim Kelley, Vestal; seven grandchildren, Heather, Brendan, Sean, Mark, Bridget, Brian and Noah; one sister, Eloise(Bobbie) Walsh, Auburn, NY; one brother and sister-in-law Walker (Ann) Miles, Springfield, MO; many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal and a retired employee at the Vestal Public Library. Jean was a great lover of books, music and animals. She was a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science. She was a loving caring person who always saw the good in people.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 4-7 pm.
