Jean M. Purtell

Jean Purtell, 87, of Little Meadows, PA, died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2004. She is survived by a son and daughter in law Daniel and Cheryl Purtell, Little Meadows, PA; her grandchildren Wendy; Mellissa and Michael; six great grandchildren; a brother and sister in law Chet and Sharon Dudek, Endicott; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. Jean was a former member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Little Meadows, a member of the Little Meadows Rescue Squad and the Red Hat Society.Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 12 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Friendsville, PA at 1 pm. Burial will be in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Little Meadows. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 10 am until service time at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Little Meadows Rescue Squad, Little Meadows, PA 18830.
