Jeanenne Beatty

Jeanenne A. (Riker) Beatty, 84, of Endwell, passed away at James G. Johnston Memorial Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 4. She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Richard Beatty, and parents, Thelma and Walter Riker. She is survived by her son, Robert Beatty of Chicago; a daughter, Cheryl Winter (John) of Atlanta; a son, Thomas Beatty (Andrea) of Endwell; four grandchildren, Megan Stephens and Zachary Winter of Atlanta, and Madeline and Joseph Beatty of Endwell; her great-grandson, Jack Stephens; and several nieces and nephews. Jeanenne was a meticulous homemaker, an exceptional cook and baker, and an inexhaustible shopper. In her later years, her grandchildren were the focus and joy of her life. Jeanenne was an employee of Endwell Family Physicians for 33 years and a Church of the Holy Family parishioner. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at James G. Johnston Nursing Home for their loving care of Jeanenne.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 9, at 11:00 am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends Monday at the Church from 10:00 am until Mass time at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Jeanenne’s Memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
