Jeanne Reichley

Jeanne G. Reichley, 88, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Donald, her daughter and son in law Kris and William Mitchell, and two grandchildren, Scott and Colleen Mitchell whom she deeply loved, all of Reston, VA. Jeanne was predeceased by her first husband, 2nd Lt. George H. Ramer, CMOH USMC, who was killed in the Korean War in 1951. She was also predeceased by her beloved son Kyle, who died in 1986 at age 22. Jeanne was born in Lewisburg, PA, attended High School there and also graduated from Bucknell University in 1948, where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. While living in Endwell, she was a member of the Monday Afternoon Club, PEO, LOCA, DAR, and the Endwell United Methodist Church. She was an employee of the former First Albany Corp., Endicott.
The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Thursday, January 1st from 4-6 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on January 2nd from the Endwell United Methodist Church, 3301 Watson Boulevard, Endwell. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park immediately following. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the GS Community’s Foundation at 32 Village Drive, Endwell, NY 13760. The family would like to thank the management and staff of the GS Skilled Nursing Unit for their dedicated care, support and love of Jeanne over the past three years.
