Jerome “Jerry” Keefe

Jerry moved on to be with the lord on May 30 2015 He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Anna Keefe, sisters Kathleen Geiger and Patricia Riley, brother James Keefe. Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years Leora Penewell Keefe; daughter Michelle Keefe Wilson; son and daughter in law Thomas and Michele Keefe; grandchildren Anthony and Allison; Jordan; Sydney; Erin and Garrett; Brandy; Joe and Casie; Taylor; great grandchildren Sophia, Ava; Cooper; Aiden; brother Dennis Keefe; sister in law Patricia Penewell; brother and sister in law Bill Penewell and Rosemary; brother in law Joe Elliott; special niece Cathy and Marshall Bown; his special Aunt Betty as well as several nieces nephews and cousins. Jerry Served in the ROTC and National Guard Before serving in the United States Marines. He was an Industrial Engineer and Plant Manager for numerous company’s during his work career. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church, Apalachin and the Knights of Columbus. Jerry Enjoyed Rooting for the Green Bay Packers and golfing. He enjoyed traveling with his grandchildren and watching their sporting events. Jerry most enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren for any reason. Jerry enjoyed Birthday dinners with his family and enjoyed doing his own Christmas shopping for everyone and was best known for giving watches and art sets.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10 am from Blessed Trinity Parish at Saint Margaret Mary Church, Pennsylvania Avenue, Apalachin. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street Johnson City, NY 13790.
