Joan Bongiorno

Joan Lenor (Cornell Rommel) Bongiorno of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully on December 7, 2020.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Myrtle Cornell and her first husband, Richard W. Rommel.
Joan is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Anthony Bongiorno, her daughter and son-in-law, Debi and Tom Sbarra, her grandchildren, Karli and Steve Myers, Anthony and Heather Sbarra, Rachel and Jeremy Riley, and Chris Sbarra and Bree Thornton, and her great grand-daughters, Madeline and Lorelai Riley.
Joan also leaves her sister, Pam House and brother, Lloyd Cornell as well as many special nieces and nephews and Anthony’s children, Joey (Beth) Bongiorno and Darlene (Ernie) Fabrizio and their family, Ryan and Christy, (Carter and Hudson), Leah and Bob, and (Joseph and Emma).
We would like to thank the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home for the loving care they provided.
We will miss you, Joanie!!!
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mom’s House.
