John E. Billet

John E. ” Jack” Billet, 83, a long time resident of Apalachin, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013. He is predeceased by his parents, Earl and Elizabeth (Sissenstein) Billet; his wife, Joan; his son, Mark Stephen; his son and daughter-in-law, Keith Gerard and Mary Billet of Elmira; and his great granddaughter, Brianna. He is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline “Jackie” Billet of Endicott; his sister, Betty (Al) Valenta, Vestal; sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Robert Miller, Ontario, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Roberta Kersul, Boca Raton, FL; his aunt, Marjorie Billet, Clarks Summit, PA; his uncle, Donald Billet, Carthage, NC; his grandchildren, Keith Michael Billet, Endicott, Elizabeth Billet, Elmira and Joshua Billet, Elmira; great grandchildren, Emma, Elizabeth and Keith Gerard Billet; and a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. We wish to thank the staff of Riverview Manor for their loving care of both Jack and Joan and their support and friendship for the family. Funeral and Interment Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 EastMain Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 1:30 pm until service time at 2:30 pm.
