John Felo

John J Felo formerly of Vestal NY passed away at his home in Batesburg-Leesville, SC on Saturday, May 1, 2021. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Anne, his parents, John and Betty Felo, sisters, Joan, Veronica (Ronnie) and Barbara.
He is survived by his daughters Amy Lindsay (partner Mike Hall), Beth (Tim) Adkins, son’s Dr Joseph (Laurie) Felo, Dr. Andrew (Dana) Felo, and John (Lauren) Felo. Grandchildren Amanda and Andrea Lindsay, Megan Laney, Sarah (William) Neff, Chris Felo, Connor, Sophie, and Ben Felo, Caitlin and Samantha Felo.
While in Vestal, John was an active member at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, where he was a member of the chorus and assisted at funeral masses. After John served his county in the Navy, he spent most of his career working at IBM Endicott. After the passing of his wife, he relocated to South Carolina, living with his daughter Beth and son-in-law Tim.
The family would like to thank his long-term home health aide, Sally Slade, who provided wonderful care over the past few years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am Wednesday, May 26th at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main Street, Vestal. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Wednesday the 26th from 9 to 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Food Panty at Our Lady of Sorrows.
