John P. Greco

John P. Greco, 85, of Endwell, died peacefully Saturday, March 27, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. John was predeceased by Jeanne (White) Greco, his loving wife of 51 years. He is survived by his children, Joseph (Gloria) Greco, Anne (Doug) Davall, Linda Greco, Kathryn Mingarelli, Daniel Greco and Marty (Cheri) Greco; his grandchildren, Jamie (Shanda) Greco, Christopher (Melissa) Greco, Nicholas (Lauren) Greco, Stevie Davall, Jerry Ramsay, Robbie, Kara, Elise Mingarelli, Derek and Kelsey Greco, Brian, Collin, Devin Greco; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Christhopher, Macayla, Nicholas, Isabella; his sisters, Margaret George and Nina (Ward) Miller; sisters-in-law, Louise McDonald, Rosemarie Haus; and many nieces and nephews. John was a World War II veteran. He retired from IBM and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was an avid golfer and a Yankee fan, and he enjoyed puzzles, playing cards and shooting pool. He also enjoyed landscape gardening. John was also a member of the Church of the Holy Family, Endwell. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11 am from Church of the Holy Family. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell, NY 13760.
