John Tinio

John Marcus del Rosario Tinio, a lifelong resident of Vestal, New York passed unexpectedly on October 19, 2017, at the age of 37. He was completing his last year of medical school at Our Lady of Fatima University in Manila Philippines. John is survived by his mother, Corazon Tinio, his brothers James, Stephen, and Charles, his sisters in laws Olga and Bibiane, and his niece Ella Rose. He is predeceased by his father Dr. Florante Tinio. John was born in in Johnson City, New York, on August 18, 1980. He graduated high school at Vestal Senior High School, college at SUNY Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He enjoyed the company of his friends and family, watching movies and anime, building computers, listening to music and playing video games. John was a practicing Catholic who was devoted to helping others. John will be remembered for his great sense of humor, kind heart, gentle soul, generosity and mischievous smile. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 4-7 pm and Friday from 4-8 pm.
