Josephine Scudder

Josephine (Gacioch) Scudder, 91, of Endwell, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. She was predeceased by her first husband Chester A. Gacioch; her second husband Robert Scudder; parents Francis and Carmella Cardello; brother Joseph Cardello and sister Frances (Bob) Markatos. She is survived by two sons Frank (Patricia) Gacioch, Palmyra, NY and Chet (JoAnne) Gacioch, Vestal; her grandchildren Justin (MacKenzie) Gacioch; Mary (Matt) Decker; Joseph; Joshua; Jonathan and Nicholas Gacioch; a brother Jack (Nan) Cardello, York, PA; sister in law Carmella Cardello, Vestal; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Endicott, former member of St. Casimir’s Church, Endicott and was retired from General Electric Company, Johnson City. Josephine was an avid golfer, bowler and her memberships included Ely Park Golf Club and the Binghamton Club. She was an incredible mother and grandmother.

Funeral Services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 10 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 5-8 pm.
